A plain-language description of what this site actually does with data, not formal legal counsel.

What This Site Collects

Locally, in your own browser — nothing leaves it. There are no comments, no contact forms, no newsletter signup, and no accounts. This site loads no external fonts — it uses your browser’s own built-in font, so there isn’t even a font-related request to a third party.

This site’s own code (adblob.js) does store a few things in your browser’s local storage, purely to make the page work for you on return visits:

• An anonymous ID (a random string, not tied to your name or any account), generated the first time you visit.
• Your favorites list, if you use the heart/save icon on any item.
• A short interest log (capped at 200 entries) of which items you favorited or clicked, used only to make the “favorites” and browsing experience work on this device.

All of this stays in your browser’s local storage on your own device. I checked the actual script: it never sends any of this to a server — there is no network call anywhere in it. Clearing your browser data removes it. If that ever changes — if this data starts being sent anywhere — this page gets updated first.

Affiliate Links and Cookies

This site is built around curated affiliate recommendations — see the Affiliate Disclosure page for the commission relationship itself. Here’s the data side of that: pages on this site contain affiliate links through the Amazon Associates program and the eBay Partner Network. If you click one of these links, Amazon or eBay may set a cookie in your browser so that a purchase made shortly after can be credited back to the link you clicked. That cookie is set and controlled by Amazon or eBay, not by this site — see their own privacy policies for how long it lasts and what they do with it.

What The Server Records

Like nearly every web server, this one keeps an access log: the page requested, the time, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string. It’s used to see whether the site is working and roughly how much it’s being read. Logs rotate and are deleted automatically after a few days. They are not sold, not shared, and not linked to anything else.

Other Links

The Donate page links to PayPal, an external service under its own privacy policy — nothing about that transaction is visible to this site beyond the fact that you clicked the link.

The footer also links to ae4jc.com, engmgt.ae4jc.com, ai.ae4jc.com, and solvetheuniverse.com — each is a separate site with its own privacy policy.

If what this site collects or how it’s handled changes, this page gets updated at the same time.
